GLOBE PANORAMA
"Funky panorama edit"
1. Go to tool box, click on the square marque tool
2. Go to layers palette>Make sure you are on background image
3. Drag and drop to create a box on your photo using the square marque tool {you want marching ants}
4. Before you hit command J...Make sure you are on the background images: HIT-> command J {on the background layer}
-A duplicate layer should be made in the space inside of the marching ants.
-You may filter the new layer
-You may also add a photo filter above that layer and then merge it together.

1. Image--> Image size
2. Deselect-constraint proportions
3. Set width the same as height
4. Image-->Rotate-->180 degrees
5. Choose Filter > Distort > Polar Coordinates from the menus and in the resulting dialog box, select the “Rectangular to Polar” setting.
1. Select the image in which the subject is the furthest back {this will be your base image}
2. Open up the next image and put it side by side with the background image
3. Drag and Drop the background of Image 2 on the background image
Using the Move tool to snap it into place.
Dim down the opacity on the top right of the layers palette
4. Go to --> your tool box and select the LASSO tool
-using the lasso make a selection around the dog {make sure you are on the correct layer}
5. Go to-->Select inverse at the top
6. Hit Delete everything should disappear but the dog
7. Use a soft edge eraser to soften the edges.
PHOTOGRAMS
1. Go to layers palette
2. Go to --> "Black and white cookie" -Go to Invert
3. Go to --> "Black and white cookie"Go to black and white
4. Go to --> "Black and white cookie"Adjust Brightness and Contrast
*You can modify adjustment layer by painting on it with a black brush.
5. Dodge and Burn { if needed}
BASIC COLOR EDIT
1. Go to layers palette--> Duplicate layer
2. Go to --> "Black and white cookie" -Adjust LEVELS
3. Go to --> "Black and white cookie"Adjust COLOR BALANCE
4. Go to --> "Black and white cookie"Adjust Brightness and Contrast
*You can modify adjustment layer by painting on it with a black brush.
5. Dodge and Burn {only if needed}
COLOR SELECTION OVERLAY
1. Command+J
2. Create a black and white mask above you duplicated image
3. Using a black paintbrush, paint on the layer mask {the areas you want to come back in color}
4. If you mess up you can use a white brush to bring it back.
DODGE & BURN
1. Go to Layers palette-->Duplicate layer by hitting -->Command + J
2. Go to--Layer-->New Layer
3. Select Overlay {CHECK OFF, fill with 50 grey}
4. Dodge and Burn on the new layer
SHARPEN AN IMAGE
1. Go to Layers palette-->Duplicate layer by hitting -->Command + J
2. Go to-->Filter --->OTHER-->High pass--> set to 4.
3. Go to layers palette--> Select , top left {where is says normal} change mode to -->overlay
* Merge adjustments to by selecting--> Command+E
TO LENS CORRECT AN IMAGE
1. Go to Filter-->Lend Correction
2. In the right side bar select-->CUSTOM
3. Using the adjustment sliders in the right side bar, make modifications to angle, etc as you see fit.
tip: FOR ANGLE
-Subtract from 360, 358, 357 etc = angle to the left
-1, 2, 3=angles to the right
TO Liquify
1. Select the duplicated layer
2. At the top tool bar GO TO-->Filter-->LIQUIFY
3. Using the warp, bloat and sucker tool modify the portrait
4. Click OK to finalize your results.
BLUR OUT BACKGROUND {tilt shift}
(Merge all edits to your layer before you begin)
1. Duplicate layer you want to blur-->Command J
2. Go to filter->Blur->Motion or Gaussian blur
3. Select the layer mask option at the bottom once the layer is blurred. {circle within a square}
4. Using a black paintbrush, paint on the layer mask {the areas you want to be in focus}
5. If you mess up you can use a white brush to bring it back.
LAYER MASKING {zombie project}
1. Duplicate portrait-->Command J
2. Create a new layer in the layers palette-->Select the new layer icon on the bottom of the palette
3. Using a white paintbrush, paint with a white brush on the face of the portrait [Make sure you are on a new layer].
4. Change the layer to a Soft Light [Option is on the top left of your layer palette]
*each time you paint on the face, create a new "soft light" layer
TO ADD a texture
1. Find a texture on the internet, drop it onto you portrait
2. Select Ctrl+T to change the size
3. Select the texture layer in your palette, at the bottom of your layers palette click on the add layer mask option.
{a white box should appear next to your texture}
4. Using the black, paint bucket the texture, it should disappear
5. Using a white brush, at low opacity, paint on the textured layer
*the layer mask must be selected in the layers palette in order for this to work
